I have been doing kettlebell for 2 years now with Oscar, and he still finds ways to challenge us. It is as if there is an endless supply of painful exercises and workouts in his arsenal. It is awesome. I always leave knowing I'll wake up the next day feeling like I worked really hard (and got hit by a truck). In the end though, he helps us get stronger and increases our endurance. He definitely knows what he is doing.

I have only been doing kettle bell for a little while but I am finding it to be much more challenging than I would of thought. Oscar is a great instructor and helps to keep us motivated even when we are wanting to stop. It is very different from any other types of workouts I have done and he has taken time to make sure I am doing the exercises correctly. I can already see changes in my strength and coordination.

I started kettle bell class about a year ago. I was interested in developing my upper body strength and in improving my Kungfu. I have not been disappointed.
Push ups are now much easier to do, and I rarely injure my neck. Prior to Kettle bell training I would injure my neck almost every month. I was practically in a constant state of discomfort. The ever increasing neck problems I experienced actually forced me to quit training in Kungfu several times. Since I have been taking kettle bell class, I almost never injure my neck, proving that kettle bell definitely improves overall upper body strength.
Oscar is a very patient, and careful instructor who always takes the time to make sure each individual student is performing the exercises properly to avoid injury, and also to get the most out of each class.
I'd also like to add that prior to Kettle bell training I had never been able to do a proper squat, without my heels lifting off the floor. I just thought this was a type of exercise I would never be able to do because of my body's shortcomings. I have since discovered that I was wrong. I had been training in Kettle Bell for about six months, when one day I found to my shock that I could actually do a proper squat! I know it sounds silly, but I was truly amazed, and know I have Kettle Bell to thank for it.
I would highly recommend Oscar as a wonderful Kettle Bell instructor, and Kettle Bell training to anyone looking to better their Kungfu, prevent neck/back injuries, or just become stronger over all. :)

Because that is what you get with Oscar! His instruction is both enjoyable and challenging. He can easily relate to both beginner and advanced athletes to fine tune their training methods to obtain the best and fastest results and prevent injuries.
Quality instruction is certainly worth paying a little more for, or traveling a little further for. Training with Oscar is both time, and money well spent.

I have been training in martial arts for 21 years. I've sustained a few injuries over the years (lower back pain, knee and wrist injuries). I was hesitant to try the kettlebell workout in fear some of my injuries would worsen. I was gladly mistaken. Oscar made sure I did all the exercises with proper technique and was very encouraging. I never felt any pain from my injuries and believe the workouts made me overall stronger. I can't wait to get back into after school is over.

When I began this class, I used it as a cross training to running and cycling. Oscar's class definitely helped improve my strength, posture, and overall conditioning. He focuses on proper technique and form. Kettlebell is definitely a great workout and enhances my performance in my other sports.

I would recommend Oscar's kettlebell classes to anyone who is looking to lose weight, relieve stress, or build up strength. Since I have started a few months ago, I have lost weight in a way that I enjoy. You burn many calories in a short period of time. The best thing is that everyone goes at their own level. Therefore, no one is being compared to the person next to them. It is a very comfortable environment with very friendly people.
After a very long day at work, I look forward to relieving my stress during class through proper breathing techniques taught and exercise. On a personal level, I can see that Oscar is such a good person. My teenage son takes classes with me to lose weight and have more self confidence. Oscar always ensures that safety comes first and makes sure that my son focuses on accurate technique. I really appreciate the extra step he takes to make sure everything is done properly for our benefit. We look forward to continuing kettlebell classes for a long time.

I was interested in trying out kettlebell training as I heard the workouts were efficient on time, yet very effective. However, I was a little nervous trying it out because I hadn't been physically fit for some time. I couldn't have asked for a better and more qualified trainer than Oscar. I was thinking about working some KBs into my normal routine but was leery about using them without instruction on proper technique. I heard about Oscar from a friend and looked him up while I was in the Orlando area and was not disappointed, he knows his stuff! I am very picky when it comes to trainers, they have to know their stuff, look the part, act the part and most of all give a crap! Oscar fits the bill! He is also a stickler for safety and technique, which is HUGE when it comes to KBs. If you are in or near the Orlando area and are thinking about starting with KBs or even if you are currently using KBs, I definitely recommend contacting him, well worth it!

Oscar is a highly skilled instructor. He has wealth of knowledge in the field of physical fitness and it is apparent in his teaching style. His focus on technique is highly appreciated, as people new to working out or kettlebell need to learn the proper way to perform the exercises and movements to avoid injuries. Oscar teaches students of widely varying ages and fitness backgrounds with ease and attention to individual requirements. There is a constant focus on safety and proper form form over all other factors.
